Dr. Locker received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, one of California's largest and oldest graduate schools for psychologists.

She did her predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships in psychodynamic psychotherapy through Yale University.

Psychological interventions by Dr. Janeen Locker are primary guided by cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, hypnosis or EMDR. She has been trained in these modalities and may incorporate them exclusively or in combination given the presenting concern.
